Alberta comes under fire; however Alberta does at least have an Animal Protection Act unlike the Northwest Territories and many of the Northern dogs are accepted with open arms by Alberta shelters and they must be recognized for that.American animals are also often accepted by Alberta shelters.
Good works done, must be reinforced by higher penalties being imposed on those who neglect and abuse the animals in every Province across Canada.
