Update on “Yuki” whose mother was forced to give birth outside in sub-zero temperatures in Wha Ti, NT, CA
Mother and pups froze to death. Yuki is the sole survivor and will soon go to her forever home. Two male dogs also taken off property are doing well and in foster care.

Public Hearings conducted in Hay River went very well. Deadly clause: “Make exceptions for accepted local or traditional practices” opposed by all. 501 petition signatures and approximately 30 letters opposing the clause was presented to Committee members. Hearing continues in Inuvik tonight.
Note: 2 six week old Husky puppies found in snow bank along highway in the Yukon. Both rescued and cared for at shelter. Left to die, abandoned, to freeze and starve to death or become another animals dinner!!!
