Thank you C4P: for allowing me to post:
Merlin is an adorable 7 year old Lhasa Apso. He is very comfortable with everyone he meets and very at home with the big dogs. Merlins previous owners were professional dog trainers so he is very well behaved. He was used for breeding at one time but was neutered some time ago. However because of his previous breeding experience he has a bit of a residual marking issue but has made good progress with this and incidents are rare. Merlin walks well on leash and never pulls at all. His current owners gave him up because of serious health issues. Merlin is a darling sweet little guy who just wants a warm heart to love him. Merlin is up to date with vaccinations, neutered and freshly groomed. If Merlin sounds like the boy for you, please contact Project Pet Rescue at info@projectpetrescue.com for more information. check out merlin’s blog page at: http://projectpetrescue.wordpress.com/2011/09/22/merlin/
Sara, our 95 pound big goofy girl is very friendly, absolutely loves being around people, enjoys belly rubs and short play times. She has initial bursts of energy when she is first taken out of her kennel for her daily run but settles down a short time later. If you ask her if she wants to go for a car ride, she is very excited to go. She always seems happy and would be happy as an only dog. Because of Sara’s size, we do not recommend her to be around small children. With what we believe is a cross between Lab and Irish Wolfhound, Sara does exhibit a prey drive toward small animals if given the opportunity. She has been with our rescue since January 2011 and we need help to give Sara her own Happy Ending. She would do well with a family with older children and a large fenced in area where she can run and play. Having a family who would be committed to continue her training would find a long time, loyal companion with Sara. She will lay at your feet and be greateful for a family who loves her. Our volunteer has done a remarkable job with teaching Sara her basic commands. Sara’s only fault is when her nose smells something interesting, she will lunge to run to her “smell”.
